Need I say more?

1 c honey
1 c sugar
1 c water
Cinnamon stick
2 whole cloves
1/2 t lemon zest

2 1/4 c nuts. I used almonds, shelled pistachios, and walnuts
1 cinnamon stick
15 whole allspice cloves
2/3 c sugar

1-2 sticks butter
24-30 sheets of thawed phyllo

Heat oven to 350. Bring first set of ingredients to a boil, boils for 5-10 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside. Remove spices.

Place next set of ingredients in food processor and pulse until fine.

Melt butter. Place first layer of phyllo dough in a 9 x 13 glass baking dish. Brush with butter and repeat until you have six layers. Sprinkle 1/3rd of the nuts on top and repeat. For final layers do not top with nuts. Score top layers and bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and finish cutting through. Bake additional 10-20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and dump honey mixture over entire thing. Let cool overnight and serve.
