Egg Tostada


Egg Tostada with Fresh Tortillas

1 c mass harina
1/3-1/2 c boiling water

1 can black beans
1 clove of garlic, minced
1 t olive oil
2 t Cumin
1 t chili powder
1/2 small jalapeño, seeded and deveined
Salt and Pepper

4 poached eggs
Shredded romaine
Homemade Pico De Gallo with garden tomatoes
Cojta Cheese

Mix mass harina and water. Form four balls and use a tortilla press to make the tortilla. In a medium skillet add some oil and fry on each side until crisp.

In a sauce pan heat olive oil. Add garlic, jalapeños and spices. Stir until fragrant. Add the black brand and heat through.

To serve top tortilla with beans, cheese, pico, lettuce, avocado and poached egg. Enjoy!
