Smoked Pork Shoulder


It’s Memorial Day and pretty much the only acceptable food item is a hunk of meat cooked outside.
Smoked Pork Shoulder

1 pork shoulder roast
1/4 c McCormick Apple Rub
2 T course salt
1 dried Habanero

Apple wood chips

Grind salt and habenero in a spice grinder and mix in with the apple rub. Bring pork roast to room temp. Pat pork roast dry. Rub roast with rub. Smoke in a smoker a 180-200 F for 12+ hours.
