Banana Caramel Tart

Banana Caramel Tart

Crust:
2 T Butter
2T + 2t Sugar
1/4 c finely ground Corn Flakes
Flour

1 Banana

Caramel:
1/4 c Brown Sugar
1 t Flour
2 T Water
2 T Butter
1/2 t Banana Liquor

Ice Cream

Crust: Using food processor, pulse flakes until they look like a coarse cornmeal. Add in sugar and butter. Use a little flour if doesn’t pack. Press into 2 four inch tart pans and bake on 450 F for 10-15 minutes.

Caramel Sauce: Slice banana and layer over top. In small sauce pan melt butter. Dissolve sugar and add in flour. Slowly stir in water and continue heating until it thickens. Pour over bananas and serve with ice cream.
