Sausage Biscuits


Sausage Biscuits

2 c flour
1 1/2 c cream
2 t baking powder
2 t sugar
1 t salt
1/2 lb sausage, browned and drippings reserved for gravy.

Preheat oven to 450 F. Combine everything but the sausage and thoroughly mix until dough forms. Shape into a rectangle about 8 inches by 5 inches. Sprinkle sausage on top and roll so that the log is 8 inches long. Cut into eight biscuits . Place on cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes.  Serve with gravy.
